Our mission is to express God’s nature authentically – a true embodiment of His love. Anchored in Christ, as revealed in The Holy Scriptures, we live out Jesus’ teachings. We walk in His footsteps, reflecting His love for a broken world.
Our relationship with God’s Sovereignty – His authority and rule over all things – is grounded in scripture. He is the creator and sustainer of all things. He works all things for our good. We can trust in His promises and find comfort in His unwavering rule. We are comforted because He is in control.
God’s Holiness beckons us to separate from sin. Our sinful nature divides us from His absolute purity and perfection. We must first recognize sin’s presence and acknowledge our fallen state to break free from sin. We turn away from sin as we confess our wrongs. We intentionally distance ourselves from the influence and temptations of sin. Our hunger for God’s ways drives us to pursue righteousness. And in the journey of sanctification, we grasp our continual need for God’s grace. His Holiness doesn’t push us away; it draws us near.
As a community, we actively advance God’s Kingdom by preaching and teaching the need for repentance; praying with expectation for life transformation; centering our lives around His Kingdom; and living out actions, words, and character that reflect His values. We stand firm in the truth of the Good News and boldly share our hope in Christ.
The Great Commission, as defined by the scriptures, guides our purpose. We recognize that reflecting His holiness and building one another with joy, love, and self-control are essential. Developing our spiritual gifts is a vital part of our growth. As representatives of God on Earth, we extend love, empathy, and prayer to our community; welcoming anyone seeking purpose, growth, and connection to something greater.
