The Mission of our MUSIC MINISTRY at Fairport Baptist Church is to serve and glorify God through praise and worship. We welcome everyone who wants to serve God with their spirit-filled musical talent. Music is an integral part of our worship to the Lord. ‘’Serve the Lord with gladness; Come before his presence with singing.’’ (Psalm 100:2) We are grateful to share the gospel message of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ through congregational hymns, instrumentals, and special songs of praise. Our Fairport Choir meets on Wednesdays at 6:00 pm to practice. It is open to anyone who feels called to serve Him through our music ministry. A special choir selection is lifted up to the Lord each week during the 11:00 am worship service. “O Sing unto the Lord a new song: Sing unto the Lord, all the earth. Sing unto the Lord, bless his name; Shew forth his Salvation from day to day.” (Psalm 96:1-2)
